WATER ACTIVITY

In the food industry the water activity value (aw) designates the equilibrium of humidity determined by the partial water vapour pressure on the surface of the product.  The aw value depends of composition, temperature and the water content of the product.  The aw influences certain quality characteristics of the product such as the growth of micro-organisms, the percentage of proteins and vitamins and the sensory  characteristics such as colour, smell and taste.

with an electrolytic measuring cell

AW LAB Set H
For a correct and fast determination of water activity using the method of measuring  the relative humidity equilibrium of materials, the aw LAB  provides performance,functionality in an economical package.  This laboratory instrument is equipped with multi-line display, easy auto-calibration at up to 6 points, RS-232 interface for printer and PC with software.  The measuring sensor enBSK-5 uses a fast response electrolytical humidity
                                                cell for rapid determination of aw-values. 

 

AW Sprint
The AW Sprint is the most advance in Water Activity mesurement. It offers a combination of measuring speed with maximum precision, suited for taking swift measurement on production  as well as accurate aw determination in laboratory conditions. The new electronic system continouisly tracks the readings with early detection and indication when the measurement reaches a stable level. The active temperature control of the measuring chamber creates a state of equilibrium between the sensor and the sample to be measure. Because it make a direct measurement of water activity, the AW Sprint always determines the true aw value. AW-CENTER
The only multi channel AW measuring instrument with temperature control oven. The AWC500 can be equipped with three to twelve independant transmitters for the accurate determination of the aw-value using three channel aw box. Each electronic module will indicate simultaneously aw, temperature, stability control with automatic 6 points calibration. Equipped with multiplexer and compatible
